Background
I am an avid mind sports player, playing competitively and represented my secondary school in Chinese Chess, as well as representing Singapore for Contract Bridge throughout my college years. I originally disliked mahjong as I don't like "gambling" games, until one of my friend tried to get me to play Riichi Mahjong, claiming that it's not gambling but a competitive rules mahjong. That is how I come into contact with SGRiichi in 2014, and started to play the game more seriously over the years especially after mahjong was listed as the 6th official Olympic mind sports.

Japanese Manga and anime such as Saki and Akagi did make Riichi Mahjong looked more interesting to me when I first started playing, and now I am proud to say that I managed to join WRPM as a professional player to continue to indulge myself in the game.
